The University of the Philippines Open University-Faculty of Management and Development Studies’ (UPOU-FMDS) Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN) program held its Clinical Practicum Orientation on 6 September 2024. The event was attended by nursing leaders from affiliated hospitals, including Brokenshire Medical Center in Davao, Los Baños Doctors Hospital and Medical Center, and University Health Service in Laguna, and Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan. In celebration of the UP Day of Remembrance on 21 September 2024, the University of the Philippines Open University will be releasing three new open educational resources (OERs) as part of the FastLearn episodes created by the UPOU Center for Open and Digital Teaching and Learning (CODTL). FASTLearn or Flexible and Accelerated Short Micro-Videos for Teaching and Learning is a program in UPOU Networks that features reels-like videos of learning objects. UPOU Hosts Cavite State University for a Benchmarking Activity

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) hosted an online benchmarking activity for  Cavite State University (CVSU) on 04 September 2024. The activity aims to promote knowledge sharing and cooperation between the two institutions. The delegates from CVSU, headed by Dr. Bernard Feranil, Director of the Center for Language Learning and Research (CELLAR), expressed interest in the processes for assessing manuscripts, particularly in terms of plagiarism detection.
