In celebration of the Art Month this  February, a UP Open University (UPOU) student and alumna, joins other artists in a month-long exhibit at the Sining Makiling Gallery of the University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB).  Genevieve “Pinky” Aguinaldo, is a graduate of UPOU’s Diploma in Language and Literacy Education (DLLE), and is currently in the thesis part of her Master of Language and Literacy Education (MLLE) program. The three-day exhibition of science discoveries and latest research breakthroughs that the Los Banos Science Community Foundation, Inc. (LBSCFI) hold each year will go virtual this 2020. The Virtual Wonderama Exhibit is a collection of technologies, programs, projects and services offered by the 23 LBSCFI member agencies. This collection will be presented as a curated list of captured or rendered multimedia resources. The University of the Philippines placed 69th among the top 634 higher educational institutions (HEIs) of Asia in the latest rankings released by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). OGC Joins in the Fight for Violence Against Women and Children

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Office of Gender Concerns (OGC) continues to advocate for a #VAWFreePH by joining this year’s International Day for the Elimination for Violence Against Women and Children and the National Consciousness Day for the Elimination of VAWC as declared through Republic Act 10398.
