The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Ugnayan ng Pahinungod conducted a series of writing workshops for Grades 10-12 students on 25 and 27 August 2021 via Zoom. The Ugnayan ng Pahinungod University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) conducted a training on dialogic reading for parents titled “Sama-sama sa Pagbasa: Paggamit ng Dialogic Reading Method sa Pagbabasa Kasama ang Pamilya” on 16 July to 13 August 2021. The project aimed to train parents on the application of the dialogic reading method as a technique in teaching reading to children.  Dialogic reading is a reading technique developed by Grover J. The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Ugnayan ng Pahinungod and Concentrix Philippines conducted the second run of the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) in Introductory Course on Contact Center Services. The course ran from 12 June until 12 July 2021.  The free online course focused on developing effective online communication skills that will provide competitive skills and knowledge for ICT-enabled and contact services-related jobs. The Associate in Arts (AA) Program of the University of the Philippine Open University (UPOU) Faculty of Education (FEd)  held a series of online seminars and workshops on podcasting, art illustration, and website creation on 24 July, 31 July, and 14 August 2021. The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) in collaboration with the Human Rights Violations Victims Memorial Commission (HRVVMC) and the Bantayog ng mga Bayani Foundation  launched a free online course on Wikipedia Editing and Fighting Historical Distortion on 20 August 2021 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM via Zoom.
