Dr. Agapito is the New BAMS Program Chair

The Faculty of Information and Communication Studies (FICS) has named Dr. Benigno Agapito, Jr. as the new Chair of the Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies (BAMS) program. He takes over from Dr. Emely Amoloza, who served in the role until December 2024. During her term, Dr. Amoloza introduced the BAMS Colloquium and promoted undergraduate participation in academic conferences and foreign exchange opportunities. Almodiel, Director of the UP Open University Office of Public Affairs, highlighted the free UPOU massive open online courses or MOOCs in an interview for TeleRadyo Serbisyo.  The interview was part of the Aprub Yan! program hosted by Mr. Danny Buenafe and focused on the short online courses that UPOU will offer in 2025 that are free and open to the public.
