The UPOU Multimedia Center (MC) conducted an online training program on Animation 101: Creating Educational Materials Using PowToon  from 21 June to 2 July 2021. Ms. Ellaisa Ruth Veluz, Mr. Lexter Mangubat, and Ms. Ann Kristine Medina served as the trainers while the tutors are Ms. Jelaine Bagos and Mr. David Bryce Saguin. The online training was hosted in the UPOU MODeL site. The UP Open University (UPOU) Faculty of Information and Communication Studies (FICS) conducted its FICS MeetUps for the third quarter of the year on 08 July 2021. Ms. Luisa A. The UP Mental Health Wellness (MHW) Program of the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) is a set of initiatives in order to address the needs of vulnerable students and promote care in the University. The University is strengthening its Mental Health and Wellness Network to respond to the Mental Health concerns and coping needs of UP students. The network continues to expand by designating College Mental Health Focal Persons per CU who can advocate mental health care in their respective academic units. The once-futuristic visions of a university of the future escalated and shifted from trends and predictions to reality. The third episode of GADTalk of the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Office of Gender Concerns (OGC) centered on protection against online sexual harassment. This was broadcasted on 30 June 2021.  Titled “#SpeakYourself: Protecting Oneself Against Online Sexual Harassment,” the podcast featured Ms. Melanie M.
