On 31 January 2025, the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) and UNICEF Philippines had a study tour at the Valenzuela City Child Protection Center (CPC) to gain insights into its child protection programs and initiatives. The tour was hosted by CPC Head Ms. Ma. Kristina Ramos and Social Welfare Operations Chief of Staff Ms. Dorothy Go-Evangelista, who provided an in-depth discussion on the center’s programs in the locality. On 5-6 February 2025, the UPOU Disaster Risk Reduction-Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation (DRR-CCAM) Committee, in partnership with the UP Resilience Institute (UPRI), held a two-day workshop on Public Service Continuity Planning at the Centennial Center for Digital Learning (CCDL) at UPOU Headquarters.
