The UP Open University (UPOU) has partnered with the IBS Foundation, the Chemnitz University of Technology in Germany, Mongolian University of Science and Technology and Peking University in Beijing, China for the International IBS Workshop on Learner Centered Learning (LCL) 2022. This is the 3rd IBS International Workshop and it will be held on 2 - 4 November 2022 in Germany. UPOU Conducts Training for UPLB College of Veterinary Medicine Personnel

To capacitate the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) personnel on the use of Zoom, the UP Open University Multimedia Center (MC) conducted a face-to-face training on 17-18 May at the CVM Communal Building, UPLB, College, Laguna. A total of 28 personnel participated in the training program. Nineteen participants were trained under the “Using Zoom via Computers” track and nine participants for “Using Zoom Via Mobile Devices” track. UPOU Collaborates with IFSU in Celebrating Philippine Heritage Month

In celebration of the Philippine Heritage Month 2022, the Ifugao State University (IFSU) in collaboration with the UP Open University (UPOU), and the Hungduan Municipality launched an exhibit and cultural showcase of indigenous houses, stories, and cuisines at the IFSU Hapao Campus on 26 May 2022. The exhibit, with the theme “Pangipaptok hi Nunhituwan: The Built Heritage of Hungduan,” featured five cultural showcases. It highlighted the Ifugao native house as the symbol of Ifugao culture, which may serve as a springboard for discussion of cultural narratives, thereby facilitating collaborations for the conservation and preservation of the Ifugao Rice Terraces landscape. Ugnayan ng Pahinungod UPOU Hosts Conversations on Mindfulness

The Ugnayan ng Pahinungod University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) hosted a webinar titled “Mag-isaisip: Conversations on Mindfulness” on 16 May 2022.  The webinar is the fifth and last in the Lusog-Isip series organized by the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Committee on Psychosocial Emergency Services (CoPES).
