UPOU Employees undergo Data Privacy Officer Training Course

In keeping up with the Data Privacy Act (DPA) of 2012 (RA 10173), twenty-three University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) faculty, Research, Extension and Professional Staff (REPS), and administrative staff members underwent a 4-day Data Privacy Officer (DPO) Training Course. FED Faculty appointed as new Director of OASIS

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) welcomed the new Director of the Office of Academic Support and Instructional Services (OASIS), Asst. Prof. Ana Katrina Marcial. Her appointment took effect on 1 October 2018 and will end on 30 April 2019. Prior to this appointment, she also served as Program Development Associate of the same office from 1 February to October 2018. Asst. The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) lost a part of its heart on 15 January 2019 when Prof. Liza Cuevas Carascal breathed her last.
