UPOU Hosted the Third Part of its Webinar Series on “How to Convert Your Classes Online” via UPOU Networks

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) hosted the third part of its webinar series on “How to Convert your Classes Online” on 18 and 19 March 2020.  Due to the recent developments regarding the public health challenges that the country is experiencing and as precautionary measures, UPOU released its third part of the webinar series as recorded video lectures instead of livestream viewing. Guidelines Regarding Entry and Exit Through UPOU Gate

In line with the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine, the following guidelines will be enforced regarding the entry and exit through the UPOU Gate: Only UPOU, UPLB and IRRI personnel who are authorized by their respective administrators will be allowed to enter and exit through the UPOU Gate; Only emergency life and death situations are exempted from this restriction. These guidelines will remain in effect from 18 March 2020 until further notice.

Extension of Admission Deadlines and Rescheduling of UgAT for the 3rd term AY 2019-2020 and 1st term AY 2020-2021

Admission deadlines for the submission of application to Associate, Bachelor, and Master of Public Management programs have been extended to 24 April 2020. The schedule of the Undergraduate Assessment Test (UgAT) for the 3rd Trimester 2019-2020 admission originally scheduled on 14 March 2020 and the 1st Trimester 2020-2021 admission originally scheduled on 6 June 2020 will be both moved to 20 June 2020, Saturday. Additional information and detailed instructions will be provided by the UPOU Office of the University Registrar to the examinees.
