FICS Workshop at the Alumni Congress 2021: Cyber Scholars and their Meaningful Stories

On 31 July 2021, the University of the Philippines Open University Alumni Foundation, Inc. (UPOUAFI) Faculty of Information and Communication Studies (FICS) Chapter conducted a virtual workshop titled “ISTORYA: Mga Makabuluhang Kwento ng mga Cyber Isko at Iska.” This was held as part of the two-day first-ever UPOU Alumni Congress. God’s Not Dead 2021

Educators discussed challenges of online teaching in FEd Roundtable during the UPOU Alumni Congress 2021

The  University of the Philippines Open University Alumni Foundation, Inc. (UPOUAFI) Faculty of Education (FEd) Chapter conducted a Roundtable discussion  entitled, “FEed Your Mind: A UPOU FEd Alumni Kapihan at Talakayan” as part of the UP Open University (UPOU) Alumni Congress on 30 July 2021. Asst. Prof. Raymundo appointed as OIC VCAA

Assistant  Professor Maria Rowena  D. R. Raymundo, faculty member of the Faculty of Education (FEd), UP Open University (UPOU),  has been appointed as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the UPOU Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (OVCAA) effective 01 August 2021.  Assistant Professor Raymundo was appointed as a Senior Lecturer at UPOU right after she completed the UPOU Master of Distance Education (MDE) program in 2015 wherein she graduated the top of her class. UPOU succeeds in holding first-ever UPOU Alumni Congress despite the pandemic

The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) through the Office of Public Affairs (OPA) in collaboration with the UPOU Alumni Foundation, Inc. (UPOUAFI) successfully conducted the first UPOU Alumni Congress on 30-31 July 2021.
