UPOU Welcomes UP Baguio Institute of Management

UP Open University (UPOU) welcomed visitors from the University of the Philippines Baguio Institute of Management for a face-to-face benchmarking activity on 14 June 2023.

The UPB delegation was led by UPB Chancellor Corazon Abansi, along with a team of 10 faculty members and staff. The visit was warmly received by Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Primo G. Garcia, who, along with the AADE Program Faculty Members, Asst. Prof. Tricia Ascan and Asst. Prof. Ari Halos, as well as University Researcher Mr. Larry Cruz and University Extension Associate Ms. Dona Lyn Piamonte, extended a warm welcome to the UPB delegation.

Asst. Prof. Ascan presented the Associate of Arts in Digital Entrepreneurship program while VCAA Garcia led the discussion on the university’s implementing practices. The event served as a platform for UPOU and UPB to establish connections and forge partnerships that will contribute to the advancement of both institutions.
