Dean Bagarinao discussed the practices utilized by UPOU in implementing distance education and managing online learning systems. Dr. Almodiel, on the other hand, demonstrated the use and features of MODeL, UPOU’s online learning platform for the delivery of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), as well as other public services offered by UPOU.  There were also questions about the development of effective modules and course packages for students, system operations, and managing human resources, which were answered accordingly.

Amid the challenges faced by the education sector, UPOU remains committed to its mission to provide inclusive and accessible education to all Filipinos. The need for these public services was strengthened as schools reopen and  different institutions nationwide saw the need for assistance in transitioning to a hybrid learning set-up to  ensure the delivery of quality and equitable education.
