Her first presentation, titled “Climate Change Adaptive Mechanisms for the Conservation of ‘Sinarapan,’ the Smallest Commercial Fish in the World,” focused on strategies to protect “Sinarapan” (Mistichthys luzonensis) from climate change. This research emphasizes the importance of adaptive conservation methods to ensure the survival of this unique species.

The second presentation, “Economics of Protected Sea Cucumber Farming in the Philippines,” explored the economic benefits and sustainability of sea cucumber farming within marine protected areas. Dr. Campos’ study provides insights into balancing economic development and environmental conservation in the Philippines’ marine sector.
