ICTDO Organizes a Seminar on Secure Password Management and Practices

The Information and Communication Technology Development Office (ICTDO) of the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) organized a seminar on 14 March 2023, to educate its employees on the importance of protecting their personal accounts.

With the assistance of the Multimedia Center (MC), the two-hour webinar was led by Mr. Eriberto Roxas, Jr., the Senior Systems Administrator from the ICTDO. The speaker emphasized the significance of safeguarding significant data and private information by adopting the best password management practices. He also introduced a new online password management solution to the participants. The seminar was the second in a series of seminars planned for this year by the ICTDO, under the leadership of Dr. Reinald Adrian D. Pugoy, the current ICTDO Director. The webinar was attended by 23 employees, comprising UPOU faculty, REPS, research assistants, and project staff.
