The Commonwealth of Learning (COL) has opened ten slots for conference fellowships to the 30th Conference of the Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU2016) on 26-29 October 2016 in Manila, Philippines.The fellowships will be awarded to delegates of not more than 45 years old from AAOU Member institutions in Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Delegates should have had abstracts already accepted for presentation at AAOU2016. Young or mid-career women practitioners of distance education are preferred, especially those who have not attended conferences in the past.
Each fellow will be awarded CAD500 for the conference early bird registration fee and accommodation expense only. Applicants will be responsible for their travel costs. To apply, read the Guidelines for Applying for the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) Sponsorship and submit application to [email protected] on or before 15 August 2016.
