The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Office of Public Affairs (OPA) in collaboration with the UPOU Alumni Foundation Inc.(UPOUAFI) will be holding the first ever UPOU Alumni Congress 2021 on   30-31 July 2021. With UP Open University’s 24th Commencement Exercises and its 1st ever Virtual Graduation, 412 were conferred their degrees and are new Alumni of the university. On 5 December 2020, during the occasion of the Commencement Ceremony, Faculty Recognition Fellowships were also held wherein part of the program was the election of new Chapter Officers for the UPOU Alumni Foundation, Inc. The UP Open University (UPOU) Office of Public Affairs (OPA) participated in the 2020 UP Alumni Relations Committee (ARC) Convention held on November 3 and 5, 2020 (Tuesday and Thursday) 9-11 AM via Zoom Meeting. The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) welcomed the new students through the Virtual Sunduan and Student Orientation 2020 Ceremony held on 12 September 2020.
