Philippine International Quincentennial Conference (PIQC)

The National Quincentennial Committee is pleased to announce that between 20 October and 17 December 2021, the country will host the Philippine International Quincentennial Conference (PIQC). The two-month-long gathering will be held online. Register now for free at www.nqc.gov.ph/piqc.

Around 100 Filipino and foreign scholars, diplomats, officials, artists, and scientists will deliver lectures and insights about the theme “Situating the Filipino and the Philippines in 1521.” Sessions will be streamed live at www.nqc.gov.ph and NQC’s official Facebook page (@nqc2021) and YouTube Channel (@nqc2021).

TODAY@UPOU: The UP Open University (UPOU) conducted an online benchmarking session with Star Colleges, Inc. on 22 January 2025 via Zoom. Dr. Myra Almodiel, Director of the UPOU Office of Public Affairs (OPA), and Asst. Prof. Mari Anjeli Crisanto, Director of the UPOU Quality Assurance Office (QAO), facilitated the session. The delegates from Star Colleges, Inc., led by Atty. Kara Russanne D.
