As part of the activities leading up to the UPOU 28th Commencement Exercises on 7 December 2024, the Office of the University Registrar has sent graduation confirmation emails on the following dates:
- 16 April 2024: for 1st Trimester and 1st Semester candidates
- 7 August 2024: for 2nd Trimester and 2nd Semester candidates
The notifications were sent to the email addresses recorded in AIMS.
For the 3rd Trimester and Midyear candidates, we shall send notifications as soon as the list of candidates is approved by the UP Board of Regents.
If you did not receive any graduation notification, please check your spam folder first for any missed emails. If you have not received any communication, please contact the OUR at [email protected] and copy [email protected].
We shall email the final instructions and graduation guidelines on or before 15 November 2024.

UNESCO-ICHEI met with UPOU![]()
As part of their ongoing collaboration under the Memorandum of Understanding with UPOU, representatives from the UNESCO International Centre for Higher Education Innovation (UNESCO-ICHEI) met with Chancellor Joane Serrano on 31 March 2025 to explore opportunities for accelerating digital transformation in education.![]()
Representing UNESCO-ICHEI were Chief Zian Cao and Mr. Zirui Wang from the Global Partnership and Programme Office. The discussions centered on these possibilities: (1) integration of UNESCO-ICHEI’s ICT resources and tools into UPOU’s courses and training programs for internal and external stakeholders, (2) joint initiatives for developing new capacity-building programs, and (3) feature UPOU’s existing resources in UNESCO-ICHEI’s knowledge hubs to expand global access.![]()
