The UPOU Faculty of Education will be offering ECED 201 Foundations of Early Childhood Education this coming 1st Trimester AY2023-2024 (October 2023-January 2024). ECED 201 is a 3-unit stand-alone, non-degree course that aims to provide early childhood practitioners with a sound understanding of the historical and theoretical rationale for creating child-centered learning communities. It is offered to all interested applicants who have previously earned a bachelor’s degree.

The FEU Roosevelt delegates, led by Dr. Alma Emerita V. Dela Cruz, Senior Vice President, explored UPOU’s practices in the Open and Distance eLearning. They discussed the processes of course creation, how to study at UPOU, the assessments, the Learning Management System (LMS), and the pathway for the instruction to be suited for the online and distance elearning setup.![]()
