The ๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ-๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค (๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐-๐๐๐) ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ is now accepting applicants for AY 2024-2025. There are 30 scholarships offered annually, and the scholarship supports graduate students.
To be eligible, the applicant must:
1. Be a citizen of an ASEAN member country (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam);
2. Be in good health both mentally and physically;
3. Be under the age of 35 if holder of a Bachelorโs degree with an excellent academic record;
4. Be under the age of 40 if holder of a Masterโs degree with an excellent academic record;
5. Have passed the Hanyu Shuiping Kaosh (HSK) Level 4 when applying for a Chinese-taught postgraduate degree; *๐๐๐ ๐ช๐ด ๐ข๐ญ๐ด๐ฐ ๐ฌ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฏ ๐ข๐ด ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐ช๐ฏ ๐๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ญ ๐๐น๐ข๐ฎ๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ*
6. Have acquired IELTS or TOEFL when applying for English-taught postgraduate degree;
7. Meet the admission requirements of the university of preference in terms of language proficiency and academic ability, among others, when applying for a program taught in a language other than Chinese.

The onsite fellowship was attended by the UPOU Faculty and Staff. Dr. Maria Lourdes Jarabe, the newly appointed Director of the UPOU OGC, delivered the opening remarks. Dr. Joane Serrano, UPOU Chancellor, and Dr. Finaflor Taylan, former Director of the UPOU OGC and newly appointed UPOU Dean of the Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS), also shared their messages of empowerment. They emphasized that the celebration serves as a reminder of the ongoing importance of advocating for womenโs rights and empowerment.![]()
