The Diploma in Computer Science (DCS) program of the Faculty of Information and Communication Studies will be offering a series of courses this upcoming midyear: Introduction to Logic, Introduction to Information Security, and Artificial Intelligence for Quality Assurance in Education. The series primarily aims to make transitioning to DCS easier and to supply additional computer science related skills and knowledge to the interested public. The MOOCs series will be offered for the length of June to August 2022.

Interested individuals should register at: https://bit.ly/dcsmoocs2022. Registered participants shall receive a MODeL enrollment key needed for self-enrollment in the MODeL course site. The self-enrollment will be:
(1) Introduction to Logic: May 25 to May 31, 2022
(2) Introduction to Information Security: June 6 to June 10, 2022
(3) Artificial Intelligence for Quality Assurance in Education: July 25 to July 29, 2022

A lantern that blends tradition, sustainability, and technologyThis coming Christmas season, we look back at UPOU student Sherry Mae Alcano’s “NINGNING” star lantern.
