In a release by the Presidential Communications Office dated August 8, 2024 President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. named Dr. Carmencita David Padilla (BS Pre-medicine, 1976; MD, 1981; MAHPS, 2005) and Dr. Romulo Gelbolingo Davide (BSA, 1957) the country’s newest National Scientists.
