The term of the incumbent Deans of the University of the Philippines Open University Faculty of Information and Communication Studies (FICS) and Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS) are soon to draw to a close.
Both Dr. Alexander G. Flor, Dean of FICS and Dr. Primo G. Garcia, Dean of FMDS, will be ending their term on 31 March 2022. A call for nomination has been released for the positions.
Dr. Maria Rowena R. Raymundo, OIC for the UPOU Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, serves as the Chair for the search for the Next FICS Dean. Submission of nominations for the New FICS Dean will be accepted until 18 February 2022, 5:00 PM to Assoc. Prof. Raymundo’s email address, [email protected]. The Search for the Dean of FMDS, on the other hand, is headed by Dr. Melinda F. Lumanta, Professor and Former UPOU Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. The nomination for the next Dean of FMDS may be submitted until 21 February 2022, 5:00 PM to Dr. Lumanta’s email address, [email protected].
