AAOU2016 Abstract Submission has been extended until 15 July 2016.The deadline for the submission of abstracts for the 30th Annual Conference of the Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU2016) has been extended to 15 July 2016.
Abstracts of papers or posters should be written in English of not more than 350 words, should be research-based, not have been presented or accepted in any other professional meetings, and should be relevant to the conference theme, "Open Education in Asia: Changing Perspectives" and the sub-themes:

  • Academic leadership in open and distance e-learning (ODeL)
  • Open educational practices, open pedagogies
  • Open educational resources (OER) and open online courses (including MOOCs)
  • Digital and new media literacies
  • Assessment of learning in ODeL
  • Learning spaces and technologies in ODeL
  • Learning analytics and learner support in ODeL
  • Quality assurance in ODeL

In addition, the Philippine Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has endorsed the AAOU2016 and has opened slots for conference fellowship to all academics in public and private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). To avail of the fellowship, submit an accomplished CHED Application for Conference Fellowship downloadable from the AAOU2016 website and submit to AAOU Secretariat.
