Effective FS/FT 2018-2019, Learning Centers will operate under a reconceptualized and reconstituted set-up. For your guidance please be informed of the following:

From seven (7) geographically-based Learning Centers (LC) and one (1) Virtual LC (VLC), there will be Mega Learning Hubs (MLH) to be located in Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and the NCR. The MLH, while regionally located, are to function as strategically-located satellites of the UPOU HQ providing services under a learning commons concept. As such, it will cater to all types of learners, from anywhere in the country and outside of the country who may want to avail of computer, access internet connectivity, access online library, teleconferencing, and training resource services and other learning- related student activities.

Existing UPOU LCs in Diliman, Cebu and Davao will function as the MLH for NCR, Visayas and Mindanao, respectively. Since UPOU operations including student support are primarily delivered online, students may avail of UPOU academic and other support services through any of these MLHs and offices in the HQ and in Diliman.

The other LCs, namely, LC Manila, LC Baguio, LC Iloilo, LC LB and VLC will cease to exist.

Student support services have been distributed to the following offices:
