The UP Open University (UPOU) and Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) conducted a ceremonial signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) last 21 May 2024 at the UPOU Headquarters in Los Baños, Laguna.
The forged partnership will center on the following:
● Development of appropriate course requirements per module;
● Conceptualization and development of learning materials/course packs;
● Development of the learning evaluation and assessment criteria;
● Cyberinfrastructure planning, resource sourcing, and implementation; and
● Quality assurance review of the course syllabi/course packs

This initiative is part of UPOU’s mandate to contribute towards upgrading the quality of the educational system of the country by developing innovative instructional strategies and technologies and sharing these with other colleges and universities through cooperative programs. This partnership was also done to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
