PHILARM holds a Special Orientation on Membership Application for DMRDM Students, Alumni, and Faculty

A special orientation on the membership application of the Philippine Association of Research Managers, Inc. (PHILARM) for the Diploma in/Master of Research and Development Management (D/MR&DM) students, alumni, and faculty was held on 06 April 2024, 2:00-4:00 pm, via Zoom. There were 38 D/MR&DM students, alumni, and faculty who participated in the orientation.

The orientation started with an introduction from the D/MR&DM Program Chair, Dr. Leo Mendel Rosario, on the initiatives of the University of the Philippines Open University-Faculty of Management and Development Studies (UPOU-FMDs) for the professional growth of its students, alumni, and faculty. After which, the PHILARM Founder and Senior Adviser, and D/MR&DM faculty, Dr. Rogelio Cuyno gave the opening remarks and inspirational message.  PHILARM National President, Dr. Melvin Carlos, presented some background information about the association while Board Secretary, Dr. Miladis Afidchao, discussed the application process for individual and institutional members. After the orientation, a s hort Q&A session was provided to the D/MR&DM students, alumni, and faculty. Before the end of the program, Dr. Carlos and Dr. Rosario discussed possible future collaborations between PHILARM and the D/MR&DM program on the design and delivery of micro-credential courses in R&D management.
