Upholding its commitment to Borderless Education, UP Open University (UPOU) announces the release of its 2024 Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) Calendar. The lineup includes two new courses, starting with the “Basics of Resilience” MOOC, aiming to equip learners with fundamental knowledge and skills in disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) and climate change adaptation and mitigation (CCAM). This course serves as a foundation for developing specialized competencies in disaster and climate management.

This MOOC focuses on providing employees with the necessary skills and mindsets for maintaining productivity and teamwork, irrespective of their location.

This initiative is part of UPOU’s unwavering commitment to public service and dedication to providing accessible education and fostering lifelong learning.
